What a great weekend at the Draggins Car Show!

I received this message from a member of the Draggins Car Club, and just wanted to share it here. The Draggins put on an amazing show, and the competitors vehicles were all fantastic … So much to see and do, and I enjoyed meeting people and talking art all weekend! I would like to thank the Draggins for supporting Gazelle Fine Art, and for the warm reception I got from everyone in the club all weekend long 🙂

‘The Chev Belair Heather created for the Draggins Car Show is my car. When I saw the picture, I was amazed at the work Heather did on the car. She has the shape, detail and colour just like the car itself. The back ground does not take away from the car, yet adds a nice addition to the artwork.  The artwork was on display next to the car during the show and many times I heard several different remarks on how well it was done. I would certainly  recommend Heather to anyone looking for an artist to do their vehicle.
Thank you Heather on behalf of myself and  the Draggins Car Club for your beautiful work and your
generous donation to the show and to Camp Easter seal .

Tango – New Pastel Portrait

Tango - Soft Pastel

Tango – Soft Pastel

I spent a few evenings in the studio this weekend and got the portrait of Tango finished off!

In the reference photo I used to create the portrait, Tango is wearing a bright purple halter. The client asked for the colour to be changed to black. Changes like this are not difficult to do. If you would like a change made, don’t be afraid to ask!

The photo I took of this artwork does not do it much justice. My preferred print maker is on holidays, so high quality scans of images will not be available until the end of the month. I can hardly wait!

Welcome to Gazellefineart.com!

The page is still very much a work in progress, but the bare necessities are all there. I am working on improving and adding to the written content and uploading the rest of my pictures.

Bel AirHere is a photo of my latest work. This image was created for the Draggins Rod and Custom Car Club, and is a portrait of a  club members car. I donated the original pastel image to the club and it will be used as a trophy for the upcoming Draggins Rod and Custom Car Show.  I am really excited to be a small part in a bigger effort to raise money for Camp Easter Seal! Hope to see you there!
